How do I choose a resin piece?

When making a choice on what resin piece to choose, I know it can be a daunting task, with so many flower preservation options available! Here are some things to consider first:

  • Budget- if you have a strict budget in mind, this is perhaps the first thing to consider. You can filter options down to items that fit within your price bracket to make it easier. I offer many options, from large statement pieces which can fit whole bouquet- for example the Large Square Block (below) to small gift such as a little display heart which is great for a single rose head or s selection of small blooms.

  • Do you want something to use or something that will be displayed as an ornament? I offer lots of useful options such as coasters, bottle stoppers, diffusers and ring holder cones. If you prefer to have something to admire from your sofa or bed, or to make you smile when you walk in the door every day, then a display block like a heart, square or hexagon might be your choice. Browse them here.

  • Would you like to add on a gift? My most popular gifts are definitely coasters and teddy bears, these re great add-on products for a bridal party gift idea.

Some flowers will need to be pressed to fit into something that isn't deep enough to fit it in in its entirety, for example a coaster or mini heart. Check sizes when ordering, for example a large sunflower won't fit in a small or mini heart, so a medium heart would be better and will fit in other flowers too- measuring 15cm wide.

White flowers will dry slightly off white or cream, so bare this in mind when ordering. Red flowers will dry dark too. I do offer colour correction, where I airbrush some colour back into your flowers, so drop me a message if you are concerned about the colour and I will be happy to do this for you. As a standard practice, I do work with flowers in their most natural form possible and will only colour correct if necessary and/or requested.

Of course I am happy to answer any questions you might have, so drop me an email to chat, or request a call back.
